How much time do we need daily for the calendar?

That depends on which door you choose. The calendar contains different time categories:

  • 12 doors last 5 to 15 minutes
  • 2 doors last 30 minutes
  • 4 doors last 2 hours
  • 6 doors with the interactive Christmas story each last 10 minutes

This way, you can choose a short door on stressful days and consciously take more time for each other on quieter days.
Why isn't the calendar numbered from 1 to 24?

Because December is not plannable for most couples.

Some days are stressful, others are calmer. That's why you decide which door is right for you at any given time. On a short evening, you can open a 10-minute door. On a free Sunday, you can go on a longer date or do a DIY project.

This keeps the calendar flexible and doesn't add any extra pressure.
Do we have to see each other every day?

No, you don't have to see each other every day, but of course you can.

The calendar is most fun as a couple. At the same time, it is deliberately designed to also work for couples who don't live together or don't see each other daily in December.

There are 6 doors that we personally recommend doing together because they simply work best as a pair. These doors are specially marked and are explained in detail in the instructions.

You should expect approximately 3 hours of preparation time.

This includes organizing materials, printing, assembling the calendar, and personalizing it with shared photos or your own details.

We have already taken care of the actual conceptualization, design, planning, and instructions for you. Over 100 hours of work have gone into this project so that you can prepare your calendar in just a few hours.
